A native Arizonan, Michael has spent almost 20 years as a professional photographer on assignments that span the globe.
Specializing in advertising and editorial location photography, Michael has done work for dozens of Fortune 500 companies
and been published in Forbes, Esquire, Money and Rolling Stone. He has also been recognized by Graphis Photo Annual,
The One Show, The Addies and Interior Design Association.
Michael enjoys a national reputation for inventive use of dramatic lighting and composition.
An interest in Eastern philosophy colors his vision.
"My lens is intuitive," says Michael, "I try to capture the essence of the subject.
I want to touch an emotional chord in the viewer."
Michael has another philosophy about his shoots, "They're enjoyable --a photo shoot should be fun and inspiring,
not tedious or stressful.
Michael has not limited himself to the commercial domain though, he is recognized as a fine
artist whose images reveal the warmth and humanity of a man whose work is his life-long passion.
